May 2011 is your chance to ride for the prize and experience everything bike in Baltimore. The 1stt Annual Bike Month Challenge is month-long contest to encourage participation in Baltimore’s growing bike community. Participants earn points for attending and volunteering at bike month events, commuting by bike, and getting their coworkers to bike on Bike to Work Day. They will be competing for some great prizes, including a bike-themed cake “trophy” from Charm City Cakes, a Waterfront Entertainment Package, and gift certificates to local bike shops.
