Ride 1
Event Name: The Waterfront Ride
Distance: 12 miles (Modest climbing, no rest stop)
Start Time: 8 am
Entry Fee: $20 pre-reg / $25 day of event
Description: Takes you from BikeJam and Patterson Park into the heart
of downtown on a sleepy Saturday morning, then into some of the City’s
finest neighborhoods. Taking in the spectacular views from Federal Hill
Park, then get up close to the water at historic Fort McHenry. From
there you go to the Inner Harbor, Inner Harbor East, Fells Point, Canton,
and back to BikeJam.

Ride 2
Event Name: The Parks Ride
Distance: 31 miles (Some climbing, one rest stop)
Start Time: 8 am
Entry Fee: $25 pre-reg / $30 day of event
Description: Joins the crown jewels of the Baltimore Park system, Patterson
Park and Druid Hill Park, while also taking in Wyman Park and passing
Cylburn Arboretum. The rest stop is at BikeJam beneficiary Mt. Washington
Pediatric Hospital. You’ll ride back into downtown and then follow
the Waterfront Ride back to BikeJam. |
A portion of every entry fee is being contributed to the
Patterson Park Public Charter School. |

“Our vision for educating students at Patterson Park Public
Charter School (PPPCS) is to unite students, parents, guardians, educators,
and the Patterson Park area through an educational environment that
rewards creativity and builds community ties. We are excited to
be involved in the Community Rec Rides both as a beneficiary as well
as active participants. Our staff, faculty, students and parents
will be participating as volunteers and as riders and look forward to
